The Optimist Club of Calgary was chartered with Optimist International in 1938. For over 70 years the Optimist Club of calgary has sponsored deserving youths in the Calgary area. They have assisted a variety of youth programs from the music and fine arts to athletics, business, community and educational programs while providing bursaries, grants and scholarships.
